Sub-Youth Track & Field League 3 - Ladysmith (15/09/2012)

The third sub-youth track & field league meeting will be held at Ladysmith high school in Ladysmith on Saturday the 15th of September 2012. The first event starts at 07H30 with the last event at 17H00. The sub-youth league is open to all clubs and primary schools and caters for athletes from 7 - 15 years of age.

From the initial discussions Ladysmith would not be able to host the following events : B&G 15 Hurdles, B15 Steeplechase and B&G 15 Triple Jump. The T&F Commission have also asked that the Discus & Hammer Throw be removed from the program, as there are no nets. Please ensure your entries are sent in by Thursday, 13th, so they can be timeously entered, The KZNA Office will have a staff member at the grounds to sort out Licensing and other office requirements.

The organizers are appealing to clubs, schools and athletes to please pre-enter for the event to avoid long queues on Saturday that can lead to possible delays in the program. Athletes are also encouraged to get a permanent license for the competition series. No athlete will be allowed to enter the KZN champs in October without a permanent license. License numbers can be purchased from the office on Saturday. Please contact the KZNA office (031 312 9374) for details on cost of the licenses. Temporary licenses will also be sold, but if you plan to participate in all the leagues, it will be more cost effective to purchase a permanent license.

There is gate fee of R10 payable by both athletes and spectators. Athletes must compete in their official club or school colours.
